Nicole JASTROW MEYER, M.D.

Curriculum Vitae

Nicole Jastrow Meyer obtained her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine in Geneva in 1999 and has been a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology since 2005.

She completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the Hospital Sainte Justine, Montreal, from 2007 to 2009. She obtained her specialist title in maternal-fetal medicine in 2017.

She has been a Privat Docent at the Faculty of Medicine of Geneva since 2014.

In addition to her private practice, she is currently an associate doctor at the HUG Maternity Hospital at 10% in the Fetal Medicine and Ultrasound Unit, Obstetrics Department.

Since 2011, she has been a senior consultant in the obstetrics department of the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG) and in charge of delivery room Unit and continuing care Unit until April 2018, when she entered private practice.

From 2012 to 2021, she was also responsible for the development and teaching of simulation in the obstetrics department of the HUG.

Her main research interests are vaginal delivery after caesarean section, twin pregnancies, maternal heart disease and simulation-based learning in obstetrics.

She is a member of the Swiss Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (SSGO), as well as of the scientific committee of the SSGO annual congress and of the Swiss Academy of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (AMFM).

She is a reviewer for several international medical journals.
